I don’t know if you’ll remember me, but I knew you in the days you used the Toronto Admirals Club. I can’t tell you how very saddened I am by the loss of your beloved husband …(Eleanor Clements, one of my staff in the Admirals Club, came across your blog and forwarded it to me.)… and by the terrible pain you are understandably suffering because of it. A love such as you enjoyed for all those years makes your loss so much harder to bear.
Please know that you have my deepest sympathy and that I hope your pain will ease a little with time.
Warmest regards,
Dorothee Anne McLean
P.S. I wish I lived close to you, so I could bring you some comfort food, like home-made soup or muffins, but I am living in Collingwood and get to New York (my favourite city) very rarely.
